The Rotary Club of Cambridge provides grants to support individuals and community organisations that are making a positive difference in Cambridge. Our grants help people access opportunities, develop skills, improve wellbeing, and deliver projects that benefit the community.

Who can apply?
We welcome applications from:

Individuals
People with a strong connection to Cambridge who need support for:

  • Personal development

  • Education or training

  • Leadership opportunities

  • Wellbeing or hardship support

  • Activities that contribute to the community

 

The primary consideration for individual grants is demonstrated need.

 

Community Groups
Not‑for‑profit organisations, schools, clubs and community groups delivering projects that

  • Benefit the Cambridge community

  • Support education, wellbeing, participation or sustainability

  • Align with Rotary values.

What we fund:

  • Leadership and youth development

  • Education and training

  • Community events and programmes

  • Equipment or resources that benefit the community

  • Wellbeing and hardship support

  • Environmental or sustainability initiatives.

 

How decisions are made
Individuals: Demonstrated need is the primary factor
Groups: Community benefit is the primary factor
All grants must align with Rotary values and charitable purpose requirements
Applications are reviewed monthly by the Rotary Board

 

How to apply

 

Applications are reviewed at the monthly Board meetings. Applicants will receive a response within two weeks of the Board meeting
