Regretably, the Cambridge Rotary Charitable Trust will not be calling for grant applications this financial year.
Because of the current covid-19 situation and lockdown in NZ, Rotary Cambridge have not be able to run two of our major fund-raising projects. Consequently, the funds normally raised from these projects are not available for distribution to the Cambridge Community.
This year, to date, we have distributed approximately $30,000 to Cambridge Lifeskills and Rural Support, the two main beneficiaries from the Rotary Cambridge Garden Festival held in November 2019, to various Youth Projects and further funding is committed to Achievement House.
The Rotary Club of Cambridge Board are very sorry that, at this time, when we know many people are or will be in need, we are not able to help financially.
